What is Graphic Recording?

If you've not yet heard of it...

Graphic recording is the translation of dialogue into images and text on large sheets of paper. Graphic recorders typically use felt markers and butcher paper, and work quickly with an attentive ear and a creative mind. The large, colorful murals can be hung in workplaces, photographed & shared digitally, and also transposed into stakeholder communications materials for broader engagement.

Graphic recordings are written stories, valuable visual assets, powerful records of the work accomplished, communications & rallying tools, historical memorabilia, and corporate works of art.

If information is presented orally, after 72 hours one will only remember approximately 10% of what was heard. But when a picture is added, recall reaches 65%.
